It seems that, as of this writing (early 2005), we modelers are finally getting
something which is long overdue... models of the P-40 which more accurately
represent the real deal.
The new Hasegawa P-40E and P-40N in 48th are excellent models. And although they have a few
problems, (what kit doesn't?) they're the first plastic models which have some of the
more crucial details correctly represented. These kits will be covered in reviews
here in the modeling section of the Hawk's Nest.
